Mercedes-Benz unveiled a brand new pickup truck concept yesterday in Sweden. During the presentation, Mercedes-Benz put the X-Class, which is the name it was given, on display in front of the audience. It didn’t, however, show any photographs of the interior of the new truck. As it turns out, the Stylish Explorer will feature an interior design much like the one in the V-Class, which is another model we don’t get in the United states.
8.4-Inch Floating LCD Screen
Although some have speculated the floating screen in new Mercedes-Benz vehicles is a fad, it does not look that way. The new X-Class will also feature the floating screen, which will likely be available in 7 or 8.4 inches. The position of the floating display screen keeps infotainment in the line of sight of the driver without getting in the way, minimizing the time you need to take your eyes off the road.

The seats in the X-Class will feature the same amount of luxury you will find in any other Mercedes-Benz. That means an abundance of options and the opportunity for world-class comfort. The dashboard will also be fitted with available wood trim, hand stitching, and a 12-speaker Burmester sound system.
Crew Cab
Unlike the Ford and Chevy versions of the pickup truck, the X-Class will only be available as a 4-door, crew cab, offering the highest level of comfort and luxury.
Stylish Explorer
The X-Class will be available in two variations. The first is the Powerful Adventurer. The second is the Stylish Explorer, which is featured in the interior picture you see above. The Stylish Explorer, like the G-Class, will be a status symbol for pickup truck drivers around the world.
Release Date
The X-Class will not make it to the United States, but when it is released in Latin America, Australia, Europe, and South Africa in one years’ time, it could potentially take the world by storm. If you have any questions about the X-Class concept pickup truck interior design, leave a comment below.
